This piece represents plights of emerging adulthood; the feeling stuck in childhood while simultaneously dealing with the newfound struggles of adult life. The table and chair resemble something sturdy, yet crumble at the smallest inconvenience. Stuck in a loop of learned helplessness.

This monument is an ode to all the time I have wasted doomscrolling on my phone and rotting my brain. My 20’s are supposed to be the “best years of my life”, yet I feel like I am wasting my youth on the endless consumption of brain-melting content that is designed to be addictive.

This piece, titled Fleeting, represents the fleeting nature of life. There is no escaping the ever-flowing passage of the limited time we have on earth. Nothing in life is truly stagnant. What feels familiar today will shift its shape and slip away in the blink of an eye.
